About Us

We are building the financial operating layer behind the merchant

We started with the cash-event problem. The mission is larger: turn payment events into collections, contracts, invoices, AI, and operator action.

What we are

Voldier™ is a software company classified under NACE Rev. 2 codes 62.01 / 63.11 (Computer programming and Data processing activities). We build a financial operations platform that is an Operative Finance platform — built on Invoice-On-Payment™ — covering collections, contracts, invoicing, AI, and cash visibility.

Software company

We build data processing tools. NACE 62.01 / 63.11.

Financial operations platform

We turn bank-confirmed cash events into collections, contracts, invoices, and control.

Verified bank data

We reconcile from secure read-only bank data with automatic matching built in.

Voldier was founded to solve the European payments reconciliation gap in small business accounting — the missing bridge between a bank notification and a marked-paid invoice. The invoice-on-payment workflow inverts the traditional AR flow so the fiscal invoice is only issued once the bank confirms the payment. From there, the product expanded toward a broader financial operating layer. Voldier is a brand of Voldier Limited.

The problem we solve

Billions of European payments flow across the EU every year

instant transfers, bank transfers, and direct debit are the dominant payment rails for B2B and B2C transactions across the EEA. The end-to-end reference field is optional and often unused, so payments arrive with just an IBAN, an amount, and a free-text description.

Most accounting systems do not know which European payments credit pays which invoice

Without a structured reference, EU accounting systems rarely match an incoming European payments credit to the correct open invoice automatically. AR teams spend hours every week doing this manually.

Voldier is the bridge

We connect to licensed regulated banking partners (regulated banking partners) so incoming European payments get matched to the right invoice faster.

What we are NOT

We want to be completely clear about this. Understanding what Voldier is not is as important as understanding what it is.

Not a debt-collection agency

Voldier does not own the debt and does not act as an assignee, recovery agent, or licensed debt-collection firm under the Irish Consumer Credit Act 1995 or equivalent EU member-state regimes. We do not collect money on behalf of anyone. We send payment reminders from your business to your own customers.

Not a credit-reference agency

We are not a credit-reference agency under the Consumer Credit Directive 2008/48/EC or the Central Credit Register established under the Irish Credit Reporting Act 2013. We do not report payment behaviour to credit-reference agencies and do not generate, score, or sell consumer credit information about your customers.

Not a credit institution, payment institution, or e-money institution

Voldier is not authorised under Directive 2013/36/EU (CRD IV), Directive (EU) 2015/2366 (regulated open banking), or Directive 2009/110/EC (EMD2). We do not hold, transmit, or facilitate the movement of funds at any point. All financial transactions occur directly between your customers and their financial institutions.

Not a collection agency

We do not contact customers on behalf of other businesses in a third-party capacity. Payment reminders are sent from your own business identity.

Our technology approach

Verified bank data, with fallback paths

We use secure read-only bank connections as the live source for reconciliation.

Privacy-preserving by design

Raw email bodies are discarded immediately after parsing. We retain only the structured fields needed for reconciliation: sender name, amount, date, reference. We never read the full content of your inbox — only emails matching known payment notification patterns are processed.

No password sharing

Customers keep paying the way they already do — instant transfers, bank transfers, direct debit, or mobile bank payments. Businesses connect through licensed regulated banking partners and Strong Customer Authentication (Regulation (EU) 2018/389) — without handing Voldier an online banking username or password.

Works with any accounting software

Import open invoices via CSV, European payments XML (ISO 20022 pain/camt), or API from any EU accounting platform that supports a standard export. Push reconciled payments back the same way. No proprietary lock-in.

Compliance

Our business classification and operating practices reflect who we are and what we do.

NACE Rev. 2 62.01 / 63.11 — Computer programming & Data processing

This is our EU business classification. It is accurate and intentional. We are a software and data processing company, not a regulated financial services firm.

GDPR Data Controller — Irish Data Protection Commission

Voldier Limited is the Data Controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Lead supervisory authority: Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie). Data Protection Officer: [email protected].

Read-only data access

Bank connections are read-only and limited to the fields needed for reconciliation.

No consumer data sold or shared

We do not sell, license, or share customer payment data with third parties. Your data is used exclusively to operate Voldier on your behalf.
